MacSoft is a leading publisher of Macintosh consumer software. MacSoft has published more than 150 entertainment, education and productivity products since its creation in 1993.
Management Team
Paul Rinde
Destineer is headed by CEO Paul Rinde. Prior to joining Destineer in 2003, Paul Rinde was a senior vice-president of Atari, managing Atari’s most profitable division and was responsible for the multi-million unit selling franchises Deer Hunter and Dragonball Z. Paul has brought hundreds of titles to market which have generated over one billion dollars of revenue in sales. Before Atari, Paul co-founded The WizardWorks Group in 1990, which was a pioneer in casual gaming and was purchased by GT Interactive in 1996. Paul has more than 20 years of experience in the games industry.
Peter Tamte
Peter Tamte is the founder and president of Destineer, and he is the president of Atomic Games, a developer of historically-themed 3D action games. Before starting Destineer, Peter was executive vice-president of Bungie Software, the maker of the blockbuster Halo series, and he also worked for Steve Jobs at Apple Computer as senior director of consumer marketing. During the early 1990s, Peter created MacSoft and built it into the world’s top Macintosh games publisher.
Scott Addyman is vice-president of sales. Scott has more than 22 years of experience in the videogame industry, including five years as the founder and CEO of Lasersoft, which he built and sold to GT Interactive Software.
Tony Chiodo is director of product development. Tony has more than 14 years of experience in the games industry and has produced more than 50 different games for companies including Microsoft, GT Interactive, Single-Trac, and ElectroBrain.
Al Schilling is general manager of Destineer’s MacSoft unit and Destineer’s director of operations. Al has been with MacSoft since 1994 and has been instrumental in building MacSoft into a leading Macintosh consumer software publisher.
Ced Funches is the Director of Creative Marketing. With more than 10 years of experience in design and brand management. Since joining the company in 2006, Ced has led the creative vision and re-branding efforts for Destineer.

Game Submissions
Destineer publishes unsolicited games only under rare circumstances. If your development team is creating an FPS, RTS, sim-title or sports game that you think would fit our portfolio, please feel free to contact us. We are only able to consider games from development teams that have begun development on their game. We are not able to sign non-disclosure agreements for unsolicited pitches unless we decide to pursue a publishing agreement.
