Now Entering Kitchen Stadium…

Food Commentator Alton Brown and Acclaimed Chef Cat Cora As They Join Cast of Destineer’s ‘Iron Chef America: Supreme Cuisine’ Video Game
MINNEAPOLIS, MN – June 21, 2008 – The battle for Kitchen Stadium has two new challengers as Destineer confirmed that food expert Alton Brown and celebrity chef Cat Cora are participating in the company’s new Iron Chef America: Supreme Cuisine, the highly anticipated video game for the Wii™ system and Nintendo DS™. Stepping into the familiar role of Iron Chef America’s commentator, Alton Brown will call the in-game action with his trademark wit and incomparable culinary knowledge. Cat Cora, the first woman to hold the title Iron Chef, will take her place alongside previously announced Iron Chefs Mario Batali and Masaharu Morimoto, in lending her voice and likeness to the game as both a playable character and skilled Iron Chef opponent.
“I’m very excited to lend my commentary to Iron Chef America: Supreme Cuisine,” said Alton Brown. “This project is completely different what I normally get to do and like a great recipe, it’s exciting to see the various components come together in a distinctly Iron Chef America manner.”
Adds Chef Cora: “Chefs are more accustomed to being involved with more familiar mediums such as books and television shows, so lending my voice and likeness to a video game has been very exciting, and I can’t wait to see the final game!”
“The addition of Alton Brown and Cat Cora really enhances the appeal by raising the level of ‘Iron Chef’ authenticity within the game,” said Dave Degnan, producer at Destineer. “Iron Chef fans are in for the full ‘Kitchen Stadium’ experience when this game hits their Wii in the fall!”
In Iron Chef America: Supreme Cuisine players square off in Kitchen Stadium and battle through a series fast-paced and intense culinary challenges. Each victory advances players closer to a final showdown that will determine who will reign supreme as the next Iron Chef America. Iron Chef America: Supreme Cuisine is schedule for a fall 2008 release.
